Workshop Format:

Each workshop runs 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturday and Sunday.

About this Workshop:

Whether you are a long time book student of permaculture or new to the concept all together this 12 hour introduction workshop is for you. Not only will you get a sound understanding of the key concepts you will be activate to make positive change in your own community through a working understanding of the permaculture system of design.  Permaculture produces sustainable design solution in any situation from the patio to the broad acre and the desert to the tundra.

Come out and learn how to asses understand and design for food security, improved home economics, local energy systems and disaster preparedness of all types.

Taught in a professional open and comfortable atmosphere, the course content is sure to stimulate. The two days is a healthy mixture of theory and practical design methodology supplemented with plenty of slides from around the world and a variety of creative design exercises.

This will be a fully catered event with two tea breaks and lunch. Every effort will be made to provide the most nutritious and sustainable food possible.

Your instructor will be Jesse Lemieux. Born on the west coast raised in western Canada, Jesse has designed, taught, and established Permaculture projects in British Columbia, Australia and the Middle East. Jesse brings a comprehensive understanding of Permaculture design to the classroom and a wealth of experience from the three major climate zones on the planet: Arid, Cool Humid, and Tropical/Subtropical.
